After performing at this year’s Laneway Festival alongside Charli XCX, beabadoobee, Clairo, Remi Wolf and others, British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean will return Down Under for a one-off performance in Sydney.
The Mercury Prize-nominated artist is heading back to Australia in support of her forthcoming album, The Art Of Loving, set for release on Friday, 26 September. It’s the follow-up to her debut album Messy, released in 2023, which reached #4 in the UK and #10 in Scotland.
From November 2019 to September 2023, Dean released five EPs: Ok Love You Bye, What Am I Gonna Do On Sundays?, Olivia Dean If You Know What I Mean, Growth, and Ladies Room, and grew her neo-soul sound.
Olivia Dean’s sincerity as an artist and heartbreak anthems have amassed a devoted audience in Australia, and make An Evening At The Fleet Steps a must-attend event. The show will take place on Thursday, 20 November, at the Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point.
Fans who pre-order The Art Of Loving can access pre-sale tickets on Monday, 21 July, at 10 am local time. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.
That pre-sale will be followed by the Handsome Tours pre-sale, which opens on Tuesday, 22 July, at 10 am local time here, and then the general sale on Wednesday, 23 July, at 11 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on Ticketek.

Dean’s new album explores love – not the romantic spectacles, but the smaller, everyday elements of love. She explained, “I think there’s a whole spectrum of how you can have relationships with people in your life and still make them really meaningful and honest. But that’s a new thing for me, to be honest.”
