Sick Of It AllAnother one of many Sidewave shows has been announced this afternoon, this one seeing three of the more classic acts on the bill come together for one massive night of hardcore mayhem.
It has been around 27 years since Sick Of It All first started dominating the punk rock world, their anthemic songs possessing a sense of power that few other bands can even come close to achieving. They are still going strong, too, with their latest LPBased On A True Storyseeing them as beautifully angry and vicious as ever.
Joining them is the very influential Madball, one of New York City's most spirited exponents of hardcore punk rock with their down to earth, no bullshit output much loved all around the world. They have been going hard since 1988 but you can bet that Freddy and the gang will put as much energy into these shows a quarter of a century on from their formation as they ever have.
Rounding out the bill for these shows is Vision Of Disorder, fellow New Yorkers who are the young guns on the bill, having only formed 21 years ago. The band released their first album in 11 years last year and you can bet you'll here plenty ofThe Cursed Remain Cursedas well as their old classics when they are in the country next month.
Dates are as follows, grab your tickets from OzTix as of Friday 11 January.
Tuesday 26 February - Manning Bar, Sydney
Wednesday 27 February - The Espy, Melbourne
