Macklemore & Ryan Lewis juggle Singles' top spot

Iceland's Of Monsters And Men cracked the ARIA Albums Chart top ten, as predicted, rising to a new peak of eight after 16 weeks in the chart. Headed for the upcoming Laneway tour, they're expected to hang around in the top ten for the next few weeks. The number one spot was held by Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox with the soundtrack to Les Miserables at two and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; The Heist bulleting to three from eight.

The new release debuts are getting stronger, with Black Veil Brides' Wretched And Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones arriving at 17 and Dropkick Murphys' Signed And Sealed In Blood at 23. The highest local debut came from The Sunny Cowgirls with What We Do at 42.

Elsewhere in the top 50 The Killers received a Big Day Out-bump, re-entering the top 50 at 21.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' album success was mirrored in the ARIA Singles Chart, with their second number one coming from Same Love, featuring Mary Lambert. Their other track, Hottest 100 favourite Thrift Shop featuring Wanz, slipped to third while will.i.am and Britney Spears' Scream & Shout held two. There's now only one local artist in the Singles Chart top 20, with reality TV contestant Samantha Jade down to 20 with What You've Done To Me.
