Ocean Alley Announce Broadest Australian Tour To Date

The band will play five shows around the country this August and September

Sydney psych-reggae outfit Ocean Alley have announced a national tour for this August and September, taking them to their broadest horizons yet over five dates from coast to coast.

The band — who have previously undertaken more limited jaunts both here and in New Zealand — kick off their cross-country trip The Corner, in Melbourne, before heading to stages in Sydney (licensed all-ages show), Brisbane, Byron Bay and Perth over the following couple of weeks.

The run comes on the heels of a successful first half to the year for the boys, having already knocked over support runs for the likes of The Cat Empire and Tash Sultana, as well as ushering their recent single Overgrown into the world to a warm response across the board.

That momentum follows the precedent they set for themselves throughout 2016, during which they played more than 40 shows on a European tour that took in outings in the UK, Netherlands and Germany, among others, on the back of their well-received debut full-length, Lost Tropics.

Tickets for all shows are available now; see theGuide for a full rundown of dates, venues and other details.
