More Northlane More Northlane

Northlane bassist Brendon Padjasek has announced that he has departed the Sydney-formed band.

The Canadian musician - who replaced Alex Milovic in 2018 - confirmed the news in a statement posted on Instagram.

"Hello everyone, I regret to inform you that I have decided to leave Northlane for my own personal reasons," Padjasek said.

"I spent all of last year realising that though music is still my calling, touring is not.

"It may seem like the most amazing life and that it’s all easy, but from my experiences it takes a certain type of person to be able to happily live that life and forego the stress it brings, and I unfortunately am not that person."

Padjasek thanked his bandmates for "giving me some of the best and funniest times of my life - literally some of the funniest times of my life - but also some of the hardest".

"I love the four of you very much, your friendship means the world to me and I wish you luck in the rest of your career.

"Ps, from what I’ve heard of the demos, we’re all in for an amazing next body of work from Northlane."

The news comes just days after Northlane released new single, Clockwork (which is the official theme song for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Oceanic Nationals esports League) and their signing to independent artist and label services company, Believe

Northlane are also set to headline the debut Full Tilt festival this year. Head over to theGuide for more details.
