EXCLUSIVE: Noisehive Opens Its Online Music Distribution Services To Public

"We can now educate the client with all they need to get the record out and make the most of its release."

After launching in 2015 as a 'referral only' company, online music distribution company Noisehive has today relaunched to provide its services to the general public.

In an exclusive to The Music, Xelon Entertainment, the company behind Noisehive, revealed they "saw a need for a more tailored approach" for artists at varying stages of their career.

“Artists often found us through Apple’s preferred aggregator listing but we didn’t have a home for them yet," Noisehive’s Melbourne-based manager, Arlo Enemark shared.

"These were musicians with an album coming or a small back catalogue, whilst our regular clients were sending us multiple releases a week. Not having a business model for these artists often meant turning them away, or just not giving them the TLC they deserved."

"We can now educate the client with all they need to get the record out and make the most of its release," he continued.

To sign up for Noisehive, artists will need to pay a one-off sign-up fee but there will reportedly be "no further costs for assets or services such as playlist pitching".

The relaunch is paired with a new website which provides artists with a clear overview of their campaigns covering "everything from set up and delivery of releases, online statements, to planning their roll out and access to a thorough recommended resources section".

The Noisehive roster currently includes the likes of Kayex, Made In Paris, and Golden Features.
