Noah And The Whale Confirm Aus Touring Plans

They'll be here at some point over the summer

It's early days to start throwing names around for the summer festival season but Brit indie outfit Noah & The Whale are determined to be one of them.

In an interview with theMusic, the folk-rock fused band said they are planning on returning for their second trip down under.

"We'll definitely be coming out either at the end of this year [or] beginning of next – but we're certainly planning to come out," admitted frontman Charlie Fink.

"Because our drummer [Michael Petulla] is Australian, he's always pestering us, Let's do Australian dates – and, I mean, to be honest, it doesn't take a lot of convincing to go back to Australia because we had such a great time last time we were there. So fingers crossed – sooner rather than later!"

Noah & The Whale first visited our shores for Splendour In The Grass in 2011.

Their latest album Heart Of Nowhere was released last week.
