No Adelaide Soundwave in 2016

Sadly, AJ Maddah has announced via Twitter (his preferred method of communication it seems) that there will be no stop in Adelaide next year for Soundwave.

Sadly, AJ Maddah has announced via Twitter (his preferred method of communication it seems) that there will be no stop in Adelaide next year for Soundwave.

In what could become an East Coast only tour for the festival, the promoter announced that due to initially "pathetic" ticket sales, the festival would not return to Adelaide.

However, while sales for the South Australian dates picked up only recently, it was too little, too late; enough that this weekend will most likely see the last ever Soundwave in the city of Adelaide.

This has been a strenuous time for Soundwave as of late, as both Evergreen Terrace and Rival Sons pulled out recently with just weeks to go, and the back and forth debacle between Public Transport Victoria and Soundwave organisers regarding transportation to and from the venue for punters has cast some doubts over the festival.
