Trent Reznor is working on new Nine Inch Nails material, Rolling Stone reports.

Trent Reznor is working on new Nine Inch Nails material and is considering touring with the band again, Rolling Stone reports.

Despite embarking on a 20th anniversary farewell tour in 2009, Reznor recently told Rolling Stone, “there will be new (Nine Inch Nails) music” and “there are some things in the works”. In addition to working on new QOTSA material and How To Destroy Angels’ new EP, the “thingsReznor alludes to potentially include more touring from the band:

"Yeah, if it feels right, it's a possibility," Reznor explains. "I never said that that wasn't going to happen, just that it couldn't go on as it was. Having a few years doing other things, I've enjoyed [them] and I'm enjoying doing How to Destroy Angels, and there will be a place for stuff that falls in the Nine Inch Nails column of things. It's a different kind of work”.

Nine Inch Nails were last in the country when they headlined Soundwave in 2009.
