Only a couple weeks back, we brought you the news that the new Nine Inch Nails track Came Back Haunted had been released. Now, we know who'll be directing the video clip for the song - multi award-winning director David Lynch.

Reznor posted the below pic of himself and the filmmaker on his Twitter account, with Pitchfork alluding to the fact that Lynch be behind the creation of the video.

With the track itself being very reminiscent of the classic dark and edgy NIN and Lynch being renowned for his ability to create surrealist style films, this could prove to be one of the most intriuging clips of the year. This also wouldn't be the first time that Reznor has teamed up with the Mullholland Drive and Inland Empire director. They collaborated on the soundtrack to Lynch's 1997 movie Lost Highway.
