Jagwar Ma, Xavier Rudd also on the bill
Australian acts Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tame Impala, Jagwar Ma and Xavier Rudd will play at this year's Glastonbury Festival alongside headliners The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons.
Long-rumoured, The Rolling Stones will play the UK festival as part of their world tour, which is expected to come to Australia later this year. One of the world's most famous music festival, Glastonbury took a year off last year due to the Olympics being held in London and to allow the festival grounds a chance to repair. It is held on a farm near Somerset, England.
With four local acts booked on the massive bill, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will play the main Pyramid Stage with the Stones, Monkeys and Sons, Tame Impala join Portishead and The xx on the Other Stage, Jagwar Ma will likely open the John Peel Stage, which features Phoenix and Crystal Castles while Xavier Rudd's at the foot of the bill for the Avalon Stage, headlined by Ben Caplan (who's playing Bluesfest this week).
Talking place Friday 28 – Sunday 30 June, the festival is long sold-out after shifting 135,000 tickets in a matter of hours.
