One More Time With Feeling, the rapturously received feature-length behind-the-scenes exploration of the creation of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' acclaimed album The Skeleton Tree, will be released on home video in early 2017, the band have announced.

Following the film's widely hailed run in cinemas — so vociferously enjoyed that it returned to cinemas for a second run following its initial release — One More Time With Feeling will make the move to DVD and Blu-ray on 3 March, giving fans the opportunity to relive the revealing reel, directed by Andrew Dominik (ChopperThe Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford), from the comfort of their own home.

The film itself was shot in black-and-white, colour and 3D, and doesn't hold back in terms of delving into the deeply personal circumstances that enveloped The Skeleton Tree's creation. Its honesty, poignancy and affection are largely responsible for the film seeing its initial cinema stint — supposed to be a one-night-only deal screened in 950 cinemas across 30 countries — beefed up to several days long before being brought back for its current second round.

Should you wish to delve into the home-media version, however, you'll find previously unrealised delights, including unseen footage and other complementary material in all of the two-disc DVD, Blu-ray and limited-edition 3D Blu-ray editions.
