Melbourne's NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) has announced today Friday Nights At Monet's Garden, a series of live music performances to take place over ten Friday nights beginning this July.

They have collaborated with Consume, who have successfully booked Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art Up Late series for a number of years, to put together a bill of artists that is diverse and ultimately very credible.

Artists who will play the show include Vance Joy, The Go-Betweens' Robert Forster, Machine Translations, Good Heavens, Brighter Later, Halfway, Courtney Barnett, Seekae, Harmony and The Panics' Jae Laffer.

A series of 'pop up talks' are also set to take place, with the likes of Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia, chef Matt Wilkinson and contemporary artist Fiona Hall all giving insights into their given topic of expertise.
