Are you a uni student? Do you like to make electronic music when you're not hitting the books? Unisounds want to hear from you! The platform is rolling into its third year and is currently open to uni students from more than 80 different institutions from around Australia and New Zealand.
What might you win in this competition, you ask? Well, there's so much up for grabs, with a focus on more than cash, but also prizes, access to industry experts and annual activities aimed at genuinely giving artists a leg up in their career.
This year, Unisounds is teaming up with Trench Records for an industry focused partnership.
The Unisounds digital platform is open to electronic artists and producers of all genres, with a minimum requirement of one member having to be currently enrolled in any one of the participating campuses.
The competition is judged by an array of music industry professionals, with the 2019 winner walking away with the opportunity to release a single or EP via Trench Records, industry mentoring and workshops, national touring opportunities, gear and equipment such as Ableton, and heaps more.
