Supreme has included an AKAI MPC Live II Sampler as part of its SS21 collection alongside a fridge, a jetski and a chaise lounge.
Supreme has linked up with AKAI for a collaboration included in their SS21 collection, teaming up for a branded MPC Live II Sampler.
The piece of kit, now in classic Supreme red with their iconic branding, is fully functional and features "16 velocity sensitive RGB drum pads, 7" multi-touch display with custom logo," and "built-in speakers and stereo studio monitoring."
Released alongside a Panton chair, a baseball bat, chaise lounges, NERF guns, a jet ski and a mini fridge all with Supreme branding, the AKAI MPC Live II Sampler ties in with the brand's loose hip hop theme. As Mixmag pointed out, the gear is synonymous with hip hop and is historically used by producers as they sample old songs to make new sounds and beats. The brand is also dropping two shirts, one with Notorious B.I.G and one featuring an album by Mobb Deep's Prodigy.
Elsewhere in the collection, the brand is dropping Supreme branded sleeping bags, bike chains, a collab with cereal brand Wheaties and a kite.

This isn't the first time the luxury brand has teamed up with brand for music-tech collabs, having previously linked up with Numark for a portable turntable release last year.
The SS21 collection is already available, and dropped on February 18th.
