Kali Uchis has announced a brand new EP comprised of four new demos she recorded in her room out this Friday.
Fresh off the back of collaborations with Little Dragon and Kaytranada, as well as a standalone single last year, Kali Uchis is now set to release a brand new EP this week. Titled To Feel Alive, the EP will be comprised of four tracks that were demos she recorded in her room.
Taking to social media to share the news with fans, Uchis also confirmed that while an album is on the way, this EP is not related to that record. "I REPEAT THIS IS *NOT* THE ALBUM. THIS IS JUST AN EP OF FOUR SONGS I MADE FOR MY BABIES UNTIL THEN," she wrote in a comment on the Instagram post announcing the EP.
The cover art for the EP is a pastel painting of Uchis performing oral sex on herself, with the artist explaining it is a representation of "the isolation era of me eating the por vida era of me’s pussy," referring to her two previous records, Isolation and Por Vida.
