In case you were wondering where some critically needed Rapid Antigen Tests are, Hillsong Kids Summer Camp is providing free Rapid Antigen Tests for all attendees at the festival.
Everyone in attendance at the festival is provided a rapid antigen COVID test at each departure location to the festival. If the person provides a non-negative test, then they get another RAT test. Even better, once that second test is also not negative, they're allowed to undertake a PCR test too. That means you can test positive TWICE, and the event organisers will still do everything they can do get you in.
The festival currently has enough RAT tests to test every attendee, volunteer and leader at every Summer Camp event. While yes, there's a high chance that they secured the tests months ago, and that testing before a big event is an overall positive thing, it is hard to imagine that a music festival would get the same level of support and resources. It also clearly shows the governments horrible lack of foresight to the amount of strain our healthcare system would be under with their reopening plan.

To make matters worse, Hillsong Youth's Instagram account has almost been showboating their incredible event, that looks an awful lot like a music festival. There's live bands, massive outdoor crowds and overt singing and dancing, proudly showcased all over their Instagram account.
Hillsong Kids Summer Camp received an exemption from the Government to go ahead, despite other festivals all across NSW and Australia being cancelled. Read this harrowing statement from the Grapevine Gathering organisers amid their cancellation.
You can read the entry policy and COVID safety information for the festival HERE, as well as a look into their (definitely not a music) festival below.
thought you were pissed about hillsong going forth but music festivals banned? wait til you find out they got access to enough RATs to distribute to all "kids, youth, leaders and volunteers" that attend the summercamp events (see: festivals) all around the country this month pic.twitter.com/AKwuom8Dbq
