Arca has given more details about her new album and shared a brand new single and video for 'Time'.
ARCA has finally given us official word on her new album, and a brand new single to celebrate. Her fourth album is titled KiCk i, and will drop next month on June 26. It will also features collaborations with the likes of BJORK, ROSALIA, SOPHIE and SHYGIRL marking the first time Arca has opened up her creative process to allow features and collaborations on her own record.
The single we also received this week is titled 'Time', and comes with a gripping visual accompaniment. According to a press statement, 'Time' originally "premiered in September 2019 at Arca’s Mutant;Faith, a four-part experimental performance cycle at the new NYC performing arts space The Shed." This particular clip was filmed on the fourth day of Mutant;Faith, and was "conceptualised by Arca, Carlos Sáez and MANSON, who directed the video in front of a live audience at The Shed and on the streets of NYC."
KiCk i is set to delve deep into Arca's life so far, and the journey she's taken to find the joy in her life. 'Time' follows on from previous single 'Nonbinary' and together, these singles prove we are in for something really special when KiCk i drops.
