Renowned tech brand AIAIAI is widely regarded as one of the best when it comes to headphones, and has been amassing a loyal and vast fanbase since 2010. Now, as the Copenhagen-based company heads into its second decade of offering the best in audio gear both in quality and sustainability, it's set to change the game again.
According to EDM.com, AIAIAI have announced new measures that will be undertaken from June 1st 2020 which will see the brand significantly decrease their carbon footprint. Everything from the headphones themselves to the packaging they come in has been overhauled to deepen their commitment to sustainability.
Packaging will be made from recycled materials and has been reduced in both size and weight, and according to the website this will reduce its footprint by 80%. They're also set to implement recycled materials into the headphones themselves without disrupting the existing high quality, delivering a total 50% reduction in its carbon footprint.
On AIAIAI's website, they wrote, "[W]e continue our innovation in audio product design by seeking out and developing the most precisely effective materials for each component of the technical, aesthetic and listening experience for all products."
