Newcastle Student Muso Comp Drops Entry Fee

Newcastle Uni's student band competition the Space Time Concerto Competition has dropped its entry fees.

A large-scale competition across Historical (1600-1990) and Innovative (1990-present) categories, six finalists will be flown to Newcaslte to perform with an orchestra at the Newcastle Conservatorium Of Music, while two finalists also perform with an internet-linked ensemble from aqround the world.

The competition aims to encourage and foster innovation in music through new major works.

To enter, musicians much upload a five-minute video of their ability to perform, with a rough direction of where they'd like to take a piece, and upload in to YouTube.
