The Mess Hall will host breakfast and coffee (the driving force behind any multi-day event), as well as comedy, Bogan Bingo and more. And it’s also a kid-friendly shindig, with a bunch of family-orientated activities on the program as well as sports (mini golf, basketball, tennis, volleyball and more) at The Sanctuary.
Is it just us, or is this starting to sound like some sort of self-sustaining utopian village? Three days might not be enough.
There will also be food markets, relaxation areas and more.
The music aspect of the bill has a healthy balance of local, national and international bands spamming a range of genres, securing US headliners Father John Misty, Neon Indian and Mercury Rev as well as local buzz bands Tired Lion and Methyl Ethel and Aussie wave makers Tkay Maidza, Meg Mac. It’s a mixed bill, but fits the location and vibe of the festival perfectly.
It will also be Chet Faker, Flight Facilities and Father John Misty’s only WA shows this summer.
Camping is included in the ticket price and earlybird sales go live at the end of the week, with general public sales available Tuesday at 9am WA time via Ticketbooth. Punters will be able to camp next to their vehicle too.
