New Sydney Festival Addresses 'Declining Festival Opportunities For Local Artists'

Sydney is receiving a new music festival that spotlights some of the country’s most innovative, genre-pushing talents.

Presented by Niche Productions, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, PANORAMA is a brand-new, one-day music festival featuring an all-Australian line-up held at a vibrant Sydney venue, with a strong community spirit.

Punters can head to the Manning Bar on Saturday, 29 November, for an epic day of live music held in the Main Room and the Front Courtyard.

With a line-up starring R&B star PANIA, a DJ set from Harvey Sutherland, the soulful Boy Soda, iconic Kaiit, Mildlife, Miss Kaninna, Zion Garcia, and many more, it’s the ultimate day out. And with ticket prices for events across the country increasing, PANORAMA is offering tiered ticket pricing for under $100.

The festival also proudly includes a First Nations ticket allocation, ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander fans can enjoy the show.

PANORAMA was born in response to the turbulent conditions that music festivals across Australia have been facing since the COVID-19 pandemic. The country has lost major events such as Splendour in the Grass and Groovin the Moo, while smaller, boutique events have also been cancelled, postponed, or adopted a biennial format.

As a press release states, PANORAMA was “created in response to the declining festival opportunities for local artists.”

It’s a homegrown day party that spotlights Australian music, “where it belongs.” The event was “crafted with a vision to celebrate Australia’s incredible depth of local talent,” which, as you can see, hosts rising stars, established artists, and genre-defying performers, all in one venue.
