Former Bridezilla singer Holiday Sidewinder will have the first release through a new digital and vinyl singles label Personal Best Records later this month.
Run by former journalist and artist manager Neil Richards and promoter and performer Josh Beagley, the label has distribution through MGM and an indie, dance, disco and electronic focus. Born On The Wind will be the imprint’s first release from the now UK-based Sidewinder.
The track features the label’s in-house band the Personal Best Orchestra and comes from Sidewinder’s sessions with writer/producer Mike Chapman. It will be released Friday 15 August digitally, with a vinyl release to follow.
Today a representative for the label said that they would be signing artists on a mixture of one-off and longterm deals and they hope to have a release every four-to-six weeks.
