Trip Out With New Project From Eagle & The Worm And Canyons Members

Face-meltingly awesome

Venus II is a new musical project from the minds of Eagle & The Worm's Jarrad Brown (also involved with Dorsal Fins) and Canyons' Ryan Grieve.

Today Venus II drop a clip for their '90s baggy-rave influenced single Inside Your Sun. Some older readers might even detect a bit of Soup Dragons influence in there.

Watching the new clip is like you’ve dropped acid before walking into a grungy ‘90s rave and getting strobe in your eyes for 4.24 minutes. Melting faces, neon universes and psychedelic wormholes will make your head spin and your eyes burn (in a good way). The exact footage you want projected on a wall at your next party.

The clip draws you into a cosmic, moderately fucked-up dance off, captured through the artistic lens of Sydney videographer and photographer Byron Spencer

Let’s hope their live set brings this universe to life with as many strobes and disco balls as possible. Maybe not the melting faces though. See for yourself on 16 June at The Tote, Melbourne or in Sydney at Velvet Cave (date TBC).
