Pop! Vinyl and metal enthusiasts, your time has come: Funko has unleashed its latest music figures at its Popapalooza events, where the company shares its newest figurines of iconic musicians. These new ones are part of the Pop Rocks selection.

It's an exciting collection featuring full band packs of Metallica on their Master Of Puppets 1986 tour and Pantera, including the classic lineup of vocalist Philip Anselmo, drummer Vinnie Paul, guitarist Dimebag Darrell, and bassist Rex Brown. The best thing about both bands' iterations into figures is that their distinctive real-life flair is distinguishable in Pop! Vinyl form.

Also unveiled are the late legendary singer Ronnie James Dio holding up his signature devil horns, The Cure in another full-band pack, and a four-pack of glow-in-the-dark Eddie - the iconic Iron Maiden mascot. Twisted Sister's Dee Snyder has also received the Pop! Vinyl treatment.

The Funko announcement comes two weeks after Vault Comics announced a new series entitled Headshell, led by Metallica, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, Def Leppard, The Beach Boys, and Redman.

"Great musicians are storytellers. But some stories need to be told on the page," the website reads. "Headshell works with iconic recording artists to create unique graphic novels that resonate with artists and audiences. Headshell graphic novels present original stories inspired by artists' careers and music, giving fans an all-new way to connect with the artists and music they love."

Lars Ulrich commented on the project, "The team at Vault are pushing boundaries and are bold storytellers. We are excited to partner with them."

Earlier this year, Pantera announced that a reunion tour is coming and will be dedicated to "the brothers. For the fans. For legacy." No dates or details for the tour have been released.

The much-publicised and somewhat controversial Pantera reunion tour will start with shows in South America and Mexico in December.

Three of those shows will take place at the Slipknot-curated Knotfest events in Columbia, Chile and Brazil and will see them join a line-up featuring fellow headlining acts Slipknot, Judas Priest, and Bring Me The Horizon.
