The boys have ten dates lined up around the country throughout November and December
Ulladulla-bred three-piece New Navy are set to cap off their biggest year to date in the most appropriate way possible, by embarking upon their inaugural headline tour of the country next month.
Dubbed the Heaven tour, in honour of this year’s also-named single, the jaunt will see the lads get under way with a home-town appearance on Saturday, November 8, before packing up their instruments and hitting the nation proper, rolling through Melbourne, Adelaide, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Dunsborough and Brisbane on their way to the finale – a free show at The Northern, in Byron Bay, on Thursday, December 11.
“The Heaven tour will be a blast, and it’ll be great to road-test songs from our new album once again,” the band enthused in a statement. “It was great to make new fans and meet some old ones with [recent touring mate] Andy Bull. Now we are so keen to have a party with our own fans! Bring on summer!”
Heaven, the song, did excellent business for the band upon its release earlier this year, garnering them national recognition from pay-TV music doyens Channel [V] and building upon the solid foundations laid by earlier release Zimbabwe to pave the way for consequent single Rosaline, which made it a hat trick of hotly received efforts when it dropped in late August.
