New Lands features appearances from DJ Falcon, A-Trak and Sebastian.

More Justice More Justice

Just days after they were announced as a part of the Parklife Festival line up for 2012 (in DJ set mode), the superstar French electro duo that is Justice have announced they are ready to drop a new EP by the name of New Lands, following on from their 2011 album Audio, Video, Disco, from which the title track of the new EP is taken.

The new release features a few very close friends of the group remixing said title track with Canadian A-Trak, and great fellow Frenchmen Sebastian and DJ Falcon all coming onboard to lend their considerable talent to making something new out of the killer track.

Busy P of Ed Banger Records spoke about the remixes in a release issued this afternoon, giving us a little bit of an idea as to what we can expect from them.

"My oldest friend DJ Falcon was surfing away, it wasn't easy to get him out of the water and go back in the studio," he begins. "He did it for us, his Roulé touch, like the perfect soundtrack for a little ride on the Pacific Coast Highway. A-Trak is for me the North American side of Ed Banger records, here again, it was natural to ask him to remix his Justice friends. Sebastian went downtempo, hypnotic, if you're fed [up] with Ni**as in Paris (you heard it 11 times in a row...) you might like this joint!"

The EP also features a live version of the track, which Busy P describes as "a little taste of how Justice can sound in a big room with people bleeding, sweating and crying".

Fans will be able to download theNew LandsEP as of Monday 25 June. There is a cinematic video to go with the track, directed byCanada, but we won't get a chance to see that until Wednesday 11 July.
