New Grinderman LP

Grinderman have apparently finished recording their second album with the yet to be named LP due to land in the first half of next year. For those that don’t know, Grinderman is a little project featuring the almighty Nick Cave and fellow bad seed Warren Ellis.

Grinderman have apparently finished recording their second album with the yet to be named LP due to land in the first half of next year. For those that don’t know, Grinderman is a little project featuring the almighty Nick Cave and fellow bad seed Warren Ellis.

 

The new release is said to be pretty diverse and very different from the first record and anything done by the Bad Seeds. In an interview with The Quietus Ellis mentioned that they tried to stray away from their previous work saying “It’s very different from Dig, Lazarus, Dig and it’s very different from the first Grinderman album… That was something we were very aware of, we didn’t want it to be like that at all."

 

Rumors have been floating around that we may see Grinderman at the 2010 Big Day Out. We can only hope its true.
