The National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Music Office (NATSIMO), an Indigenous-led initiative of APRA AMCOS and a peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music creators, is launching a new workshop series this month.

The Virtual First Nations Suite is set to launch later this month its first 3-2-1 Sessions (3 hours, two songwriters, 1 song) with Mo'Ju. This will run monthly with different creators as a one-on-one, short-burst three-hour virtual collaborative songwriting session.

"Co-writing and collaborating is one of the best and most exciting ways to learn about your craft and also about who you are as artist," said Mo'Ju.

Screen composer Dale Cornelius will present the Evolution Of The Cue masterclass series, and ARIA Award-winning producer and engineer Magoo (who has worked with Midnight Oil, Powderfinger and more) will present Your Guide To Remote Recording.

The Virtual First Nations Suite is facilitated by NATSIMO's National Manager Leah Flanagan and Writer Representative Donna Woods.

"With the Virtual First Nations Suite, we encourage all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander APRA AMCOS members to register and join these sessions from wherever they may be," said Flanagan.

"If you are familiar with the topic and enthusiastic to build your skills, we hope you'll join us online."
