Congrats!
Stalwart of the Brisbane music scene Konstantin Kersting has signed a deal with Native Tongue to continue producing and writing music.
Most recently Kersting reaped praised for co-writing and producing Mallrat's single Better which placed at #46 on this year's Hottest 100 and just picked up the award for Best Unpublished Work in the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition.
"Better was the first song I’d ever written with another songwriter in a co-write setting and it was such an amazing experience. I’m extremely grateful that people have heard this song and have resonated with it so deeply," Kersting said.
"I’m also extremely excited to now be working with Native Tongue. Their team have shown an incredible passion and drive for the careers of their songwriters and producers alike and it feels great to be welcomed into the fold."

The Native Tongue team is just as stoked to have Kersting aboard after his successful work with Tia Gostelow, The Jungle Giants and The Belligerents in the last several years.
"Kon has been the driving force behind a number of songs and albums we’ve been enjoying over the past couple of years. Whilst relatively new to collaborative songwriting, it’s clear Kon is a natural and that his production and engineering knowledge give him an edge in these sessions," Native Tongue's Managing Director Jamie Gough said.
"It’s great to see his co-write with Mallrat receiving this accolade, and we see ourselves being an integral part of Kon’s team going forward."
