This statement was released on Facebook this week.
"Today we venture out on tour with Bury Tomorrow and unfortunately Ryan isn't going to be coming with us. A few weeks back he informed us of his decision to leave Napoleon to pursue one of his dreams and career goals. Naturally we're sad to lose one of out best friends but we fully support his decision and really wish him all the best.
We have our friend Jacob filling in for the whole summer on bass so come along and make him feel welcome.
Ryan had the following to say:
''It's with a heavy heart that I have to write this, but it is time that I ended my run in Napoleon, I've had an amazing time over the past few years and couldn't have asked for three better friends to do this with, however I have been given the opportunity to go into a career as a barber, and with it being such an interest of mine it would be stupid to let this pass, thank you to everyone for all the support over the past few years.
Tatty bye
Ryan’
Fear not though, we've almost finished writing our album and are due to start recording in less than one month with the aim of releasing it this year so keep your eyes peeled for updates and if you're coming to see us at a show. Let's hang."
