'Old & Grey' Drops 29 July

Melbourne's classic punk rockers My Echo are gearing up to drop their new single Old & Grey on 29 July, a teaser for their debut album Brothers, and are celebrating by hitting the road on tour to play Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

The four-piece are packed into a van and headed to Adelaide for a few weeks in April with producer Hadyn Buxton (Trial Kennedy, Ecca Vandal) to record the album over 18 days. Recorded live, the debut was put together at Adelaide's Capital Sound Studio and captures the raw energy they've brought to the stage when touring alongside Jimmy Eat World, Bodyjar, Shihad and Kingswood since their inception in 2011.

The band explained that the new album "touches on relationship troubles and triumphs, beginnings and breakdowns, whether that be with ladies, friends or family. Bad habits you can't kick and probably don't want to, and personal health. We feel it is as angry as it is sorry, as proud as it is vulnerable, and most importantly, entirely honest, whether we liked it or not".

Catch them on 30 July when they kick off the tour at The Crown & Anchor in Adelaide, before they roadtrip over to Melbourne and Sydney.
