Beefs, nude photos, oddball rants and inspired musings - the social media giant that is Twitter has become less of a networking site and more of an entertainment arena for us general folk since its inception. Musicians especially have provided some great entertainment over the years on this global forum.

AZEALIA BANKS

Where do we begin with the feisty Harlem rapper? Banks - or YUNG RAPUNXEL as she calls herself, doesn't like to hold anything back on her Twitter account. She loves a good feud - taking on the likes of UK pop singer Rita Ora, rock legends the Stone Roses, celebrity gossip kingpin Perez Hilton and our very own Iggy Azalea. Her latest beef was with Brit Lily Allen - the latter calling out Banks for being a one hit wonder, which did not go down well at all with the rapper - branding Allen's kids "ugly" and having multiple digs at her lack of a recent career.

The one-time wild child of rock is as known for her controversy and knack for being tabloid fodder as she is for her musical talent. But Twitter it seems has provided Love an avenue to spread her always unique preachings, wisdom and perspective to the world. AMANDA BYNES

Yes, we are very aware that Amanda Bynes is NOT a musician, regardless of her budding rap career (ugh) or her appearance in the movie Hairspray. It seems though that the recent headline grabber and semi-retired actress has an issue with some of music's biggest names. Sadly for us, a lot of the best tweets have been deleted by Bynes - although she's adamant the account is being handled by an imposter. So, here's a little rundown for you...

The Hollywood starlet attacked Rihanna in a series of tweets in which she said "you look so ugly tryin to be white" and "Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough" to which the Umbrella singer simply replied:
