Alliance running survey online
The Australian Freelance Musicians Alliance has announced it will host a 'state of the scene' meeting for musicians after launching a survey this week.
Part of the Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance, AFMA has looked to establish itself in the music sector since being vocal during the collapse of the Peats Ridge festival 12 months ago. It is hoping to develop into a strong campaigner for musician's rights at a time when independent live music stakeholders are making progress with authorities around the country.
They recently launched a survey to identify key issues in the industry, as seen by musicians and stakeholders, which will be discussed at the upcoming meeting.
The survey is open now, and the meeting will take place Tuesday 11 March at the NSW Teachers Federation Building in Surry Hills.
