Art metal titans Mushroomhead are finally giving Australian audiences a glimpse of their theatrical live show when they come to our country with the enormous Soundwave festival next month.

But today it has been announced that fans in two Australian cities will have a further chance to see the band live as they lock in a couple of extra live commitments while they're here.

The band will be the opening act on the Rob Zombie and KoRn co-headline dates in Sydney and Melbourne, getting the crowd warmed up for the legendary metal acts in both cities and showing why they have been held in such high regard since their formation over 20 years ago in Cleveland, Ohio.

The dates are below and tickets are on sale tomorrow (Thursday 23 January), so don't dilly-dally.
