English rockers Muse have confirmed they intend to tour Australia in 2013.
Last week we let you know that two prominent New Zealand publications have hinted at a 2013 tour by the band. However, Beat Magazine has now added to the rumours of an Australian tour following a recent interview with drummer Dominic Howard.
In an interview due to be published tomorrow, Dominic tells Beat that Australian fans can expect a visit from Muse around the `end of next year'.
“I think it’s just gonna be next year sometime. Well to be honest rather than saying we’re gonna be there soon, it’s gonna be towards the end of next year, I know. Coming up to your summer. We’ll be looking forward to coming back and doing some nice big shows,” explains the drummer.
The last time Muse toured Australia was in 2010, when they headlined the Big Day Out and returned later in the year for a series of headline shows.
Muse's new album, The 2nd Law, is released this Friday.
