Yes, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros will join them. So will Willy Mason.

More Mumford & Sons More Mumford & Sons

Their return to Australia has been rumoured for months but only today can we confirm to you that much-loved British folkies Mumford & Sons are on their way back to Australia to give us the massive national tour we have always wanted from them!

The band haven't been back to Australia since they sent everyone into a frenzy at the Splendour In The Grass festival a couple of years back, but you can bet there are many, many thousands of people who have been waiting patiently (and some not-so-patiently) for news of their return. Well, it's finally upon us and it's a seriously exciting tour by the sounds of things. Kicking off in Perth, the band will be heading all around the country with ten dates locked in so far. They're not coming alone either, their friends Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros are coming along for the ride for most of the shows and solo folk master Willy Mason will be there for all of them!

As if all this news wasn't exciting enough, the tour promoters have said that fans of the band should stay tuned for another big announcement about a special one-off date as part of the Gentleman of the Road series that the band have conducted with such success around the world.  Details of this unique event will apparently be revealed in the coming weeks. Check out the website for more information on what that event has been like in other parts of the world and get excited!

Mumford & Sons will be back in Australia in October, playing the following dates. Tickets are available from Monday 9 July onwards.
