US metal band Mudvayne have seemingly pushed the creative endeavour too far with their latest video clip banned by all major video outlets.

The group’s video for the song ‘Beautiful and Strange’, which comes off last year’s self-titled album was recently deemed inappropriate due to its explicit and unsettling nature.

The clip is said to depict strong sexual themes, which begin with a female corpse resurrected by a man. It is not the first time a metal band has come under fire for their provocative video clips. German act Rammstein recently copped the ire of video authorities for their controversial clip for the song ‘Pussy’.

Beautiful and Strange’ is currently only viewable at vampirefreaks website, and is intended for mature audiences.

The video was directed by Frankie Nasso.
