Frontman in wheelchair following accident
Michigan metalcore band For The Fallen Dreams have pulled our of their planned Australian tour after it emerged that their vocalist will spend two months in a wheelchair following a motorcycle accident.
In July the band announced they'd tour with The Plot In You, Storm The Sky and Fit For A King but today promoters Destroy All Lines have notified that injuries to singer Chad Ruhlig have forced their cancellation.
A statement from management reads, “Unfortunately Chad was in a severe motorcycle accident that has left him wheelchair bound for the next two months. He will find out soon if surgeries need to be scheduled on his leg, which has suffered the most damage from the crash.
“Needless to say, he is unable to fly, or perform with the band on these dates. However, he won't be down forever. Him (sic) and the rest of FTFD will be back as soon as humanly possible to make this up.”

The tour is going ahead, however, with added local acts and a few venue changes, including new shows at Melbourne's Bang Club, Sydney's Hot Damn and Sutherland's Studio Six.
As a result a number of the original planned shows have been pulled, including the main dates in Sydney and Melbourne.
