Mos DefUS hip hop star Mos Def, now known as Yasin Bey, failed to appear at today's Soulfest show in Sydney.
Fans were informed of the no-show just moments before his scheduled appearance time.
Bey had posted an apology to fans on Facebook three hours ahead his performance.
The post stated: "Peace Sydney. Sorry Im going to miss you today. We had some travel issues."
He went on to say he would make it for the Victorian leg of Soulfest: "Melbourne, I will be there tomorrow for Soulfest!!!"
And finally, he promised Sydney fans he would still perform there during the week: "You can catch me at The Enmore Theatre on Monday night."
