More tickets will go on sale next week for Splendour In The Grass, it's been announced today.

The festival revealed its capacity has been increased by an extra 2,500 tickets, with these available as of next Thursday 12 June at 9am AEST.

The event's re-sale option also returns, with those who purchased tickets but can no longer attend able to offload theirs on Monday 16 June, again at 9am AEST.

Splendour initially sold-out amid a hectic morning of ticket sales early last month.
