Remember That New Melbourne Brewery We Told You About? It's Opening This Week

The new brewery coming to Melbourne that we told you about last month is finally opening this week. 

Moon Dog World in Preston, run by Matt Kenna (ex-Little Creatures) as head of hospitality, Chris Hysted-Adams (ex-Black Pearl) as venue manager and Damon Phillippakos (ex-Terminus Hotel) as head chef, will officially open from 4pm this Friday.

The 725-capacity venue is fitted with a waterfall, a little river and lagoon at its centre, a “rainforest walk” and a beer garden with a retractable roof.

“We are absolutely stoked to be launching Moon Dog World,” managing director Josh Uljans said.

“This has been a massive project and comes off the back of years of significant growth for our business. Our amazing team is working incredibly hard to deliver a world-class new production brewery and a truly unique venue that we reckon is going to blow people’s minds.”
