"Serious Health Issues" Forces Mojo Juju To Pull Out Of Hilltop Hoods' European Tour

"I have been advised that right now overseas travel is not an option."

More Mo'Ju Mo'Ju

Mojo Juju has announced "serious health issues" have forced her to drop out of Hilltop Hoods' European tour which kicks off next week.

The Melbourne songwriter confirmed the news in a statement posted online on Wednesday night.

"I have been advised that right now overseas travel is not an option," the post reads.

"With some proper rest, good medicine and a lot of positive vibes I’ll be back on my feet by November."

Hilltop Hoods said in their own statement, "We’ve loved touring with Mojo throughout Australia in recent weeks, and we are huge fans of her and her music. We’re sending her our love and wishing her all the best and the speediest of recoveries".

Melbourne-based artist Briggs will step in in Mojo Juju's place, with the first date of the tour to commence in Belgium.

The news comes after Hilltop Hoods wrapped up their most successful tour of Australia to date earlier this month, performing to over 80,000 fans across seven shows.
