Former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic hasrecorded bass for one song set to appear on Modest Mouse's long-in-the-works new album.
Novoselic described his contribution as a "pretty edgy, distorted bass riff," and has apparently been jamming with the indie rockers since as far back as last summer.
Modest Mouse have not released a full-length album since 2007's 'We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank,' but no date for the group's upcoming sixth album has been set. The group have mentioned hopes of a 2014 release.
