Missy Higgins To Replace Jessica Mauboy At Birdsville Big Red Bash

Due to unforeseen TV scheduling conflicts.

More Missy Higgins Missy Higgins

Acclaimed Queensland festival Birdsville Big Red Bash has announced that in-demand actress and musician Jessica Mauboy is no longer able to make the Big Red Dune next July due to unforeseen TV scheduling conflicts.

As such, venerated Aussie singer-songwriter Missy Higgins will now join the likes of James Reyne, Mark Seymour, Lee Kernaghan, Kate Ceberano, Ray Ryder and more in outback Queensland from 4 - 6 July.

“I'm so excited to play this gig - to get out into the Australian desert, get some red soil on my feet and share a stage with so many incredible country artists. It's going be fun, yeehaw!” Higgins said.

Higgins will be dishing up new music, while headliner Kernaghan celebrates 25 years in the biz.
