Mike Patton has announced that he is working on a number of new musical projects. Speaking to triple j today, Patton confirmed that once he has wrapped up run of shows in Europe with Faith No More he would set his sights on Nevermen, a new project featuring Tunde Adebimpe from TV On The Radio and Adam Drucker (aka Doseone) from Subtle. He described the band as a “vocal trio” and said he would like to complete the Nevermen project by the end of the year. Patton also hinted at the possibility of new albums from Tomahawk and Fantomas. “In the back of my mind also I’m trying to chip away at a new Fantomas record and Duane [Denison] the guitar player from Tomahawk has already started writing so there’s a lot of things brewing.
