"We look forward to helping her bring that music to life."
20-year-old artist Miiesha has today been announced as the latest addition on the EMI Music Australia roster.
From the small Aboriginal community of Woorabinda in Central Queensland, Miiesha was one of the standout acts at BIGSOUND 2019 in Brisbane earlier this month and is now set to showcase her music to the world.
“We are really excited to start working closely with Miiesha," EMI Music Australia Managing Director, John O'Donnell, said.
"Miiesha’s story and her musical identity is incredibly powerful and singular. We look forward to helping her bring that music to life.”

The burgeoning songwriter has also signed for live representation with Sydney-based Village Sounds, joining a roster that boasts names like Courtney Barnett, Vance Joy, Mojo Juju, Cub Sport and The Preatures.
"I am overjoyed to be joining Miiesha’s team," senior agent Katie Rynne said.
"I felt an instant connection to the music and after seeing her performing live and the joy that she brought to the audience, I knew that I had an extremely important artist in front of me.
"First stop, Woorabinda, next stop, the world."
