British singer-songwriter superstar Ed Sheeran is the biggest threat to Karise Eden's hold on the ARIA Chart top spot this week, according to midweek figures.

Currently on tour - and recently announcing further Australian dates for 2013 - Sheeran's boost in profile will see him climb from his current position of three with + and may have him take the top spot from Eden's My Journey. Sheeran's highest point so far is three.

The new record from Dappled Cities, Lake Air, is expected to debut in the top 50.

Maroon 5, Fun., And Missy Higgins will continue to hold down the top spots.
