Releases from Paul Kelly and Taylor Swift are in chase
In recent weeks the midweek ARIA Chart figures have been a case of, 'Can anyone catch Pink?' And once again this week the answer is, 'Probably not.'
It does seem, though, that others are getting closer to the pop-star's latest, The Truth About Love and Taylor Swift's new album Red will likely slot into the second spot this week. Local releases from Lee Kernaghan (Beautiful Noise) and Paul Kelly (Spring And Fall) have been tracking well since release and should chart high, but the top local name is probably going to be X-Factor graduate Reece Mastin and his album Beautiful Nightmare.
A wild card for a top ten debut this week is American metal band Stone Sour with their album House Of Gold & Bones – Part 1, they're bound for Soundwave and we've already seen the buying power of the heavy scene this year. Locals Thy Art Is Murder are looking at the second half of the top 50 with their record Hate.
After their strong debut at two last week, Calvin Harris and Florence Welch's Sweet Nothing is keeping Psy's Gangnam Style honest again this week, according to midweek figures. Delta Goodrem's PR machine is starting to stretch its legs and Wish You Were Here (debuted at seven last week) continues to climb.

The big debut will be from Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child, which looks to be this week's bullet performer.
