Rob Hirst and Scott Owen will back up the bluesman this summer.

More Ash Grunwald More Ash Grunwald

As he plans another big summer, this time on the back of his latest record Trouble's Door, Australian blues favourite Ash Grunwald has announced that he has enlisted an all star group to help him out on some forthcoming shows.

Beginning at the end of this month, Grunwald will take to the road with The Living End bassist Scott Owen and Midnight Oil/The Break/Backsliders drummer Rob Hirst - two artists considered to be at the absolute top of their game in the Australian rock'n'roll scene as they play with their equally iconic and well-loved bands.

Grunwald has never been shy of collaboration, the list of artists who have helped him achieve any given artistic vision is quite incredible, but this line up certainly looks to be one that fans of rock'n'roll won't want to miss. We can only imagine how intense the almighty stomp that is a huge part of Grunwald's music will be with this new addition to his touring line up.

There are just four opportunities to see this line up planned so far, make sure you don't miss your chance when they play the following shows.
